Bulletin

The flaring activity during past 24 hours was of the low C-class level and all the C-class flares originated from the newly emerged and fast developing Catania sunspot group 51 (NOAA AR 1726). The flaring activity at the C-class level is probable in particular from the newly emerged Catania sunspot groups 51 and 52 (NOAA AR 1726 and NOAA AR 1727) and Catania sunspot group 46 (NOAA AR 1723). M-class flares are possible but unlikely. The solar wind speed slightly increased and now amounts about 340 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 6 nT. The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field is fluctuating with the intervals of its negative value (up to - 4 nT). The geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain so.
