During last 24 hours there were no C-class flares, and only one B-class flare was reported. NOAA AR 2770 still has beta configuration of its photospheric magnetic field and it might be the source of B-class flares in the coming hours. Although the isolated C-class flares are possible, they are not very probable. During last 24 hours no Earth directed CMEs have been observed in coronagraph data. Proton flux levels were at background values and they are expected to remain so.
The solar wind speed is presently 500 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is 4 nT. The solar wind associated with the equatorial coronal hole of positive polarity that has reached central meridian in the morning of August 03 is expected at Earth today or early tomorrow. The geomagnetic conditions are quiet, and we expect quiet to possibly unsettled conditions in the coming hours.
