Solar X-ray flux has been below background (B) level throughout the period. There are no spotted regions on disc and X-ray flux is expected to remain at or below background (B) values.
There were no Earth directed coronal mass ejections observed in coronagraph data.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels over the past 24 hours. It is expected to stay at background levels for the next 24 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to remain so over the next 24 hours, but with ongoing elevated Solar wind conditions a gradual increase must be expected over the next days.
Solar wind conditions showed an expected renewed enhancement with Solar wind speed reaching a maximum of 486 km/s yesterday afternoon. It is currently at around 425 km/s. Magnetic field varied in the 3-8 nT range with the Bz reaching at times down to -6.4 nT. The magnetic field phi angle was in the outward sector. Solar wind is expected to remain moderately enhanced with further enhancements likely, as a number of coronal holes are lining up.
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (NOAA Kp and local K Dourbes 1-3). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be mostly quiet to unsettled, with isolated active periods not excluded and becoming increasingly more likely over the next 48 hours.
