Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below B level throughout the period. There are no active regions on disk and chances for flaring at C level are very low.

No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CME's) have been observed in coronagraph data.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels in the past 24 hours, and is expected to remain so in the next 24 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is at enhanced levels reaching just below the 10^3 pfu event threshold at its diurnal maximum. The electron flux is expected to show a slow decrease over the next days.

Solar wind was in a slow wind regime with a slightly enhanced magnetic field. Solar wind speed was in the 320-380 km/s range and total magnetic field in the 3-10nT range. The Bz component of the magnetic field was mostly positive while the phi angle varied somewhat. Close to nominal Solar wind conditions are expected over the next days.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (NOAA Kp 1 and local K Dourbes 1-3). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet to unsettled in the next 48 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 14 stations.
