Coronal hole faces Earth

A southern extension of the northern hemisphere polar coronal hole is now facing Earth.
While it doesn't stretch down all the way to the equator, it is likely that we will see the arrival of an enhanced solar wind stream at Earth in about two to three days from now. Active geomagnetic conditions (Kp4) will be possible when the solar wind stream arrives.
