Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below C level throughout the period. NOAA region 2765 remained fairly inactive producing just some minor B flares. C flares from this region are possible but not very probable.

There were no Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) observed in coronagraph data.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to continue to be at background level. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux has been nominal over the past days.

Solar wind speed showed originally a minor decreasing trend reaching under 300 km/s around 6UT before showing a steady increase to around 350km/s presently. The total magnetic field was around or below 5nT with a variable Bz component. The magnetic field phi angle was variable but predominantly in the negative sector. Solar wind conditions may become slightly more enhanced but should overall remain close to nominal.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (NOAA Kp and local K Dourbes 0-2). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet to unsettled over the next 48 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 015, based on 16 stations.
