Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

A WEAK PROTON ENHANCEMENT WAS IN PROGRESS FOR MOST OF THE PERIOD. A MAXIMUM OF 1 PFU WAS OBSERVED NEAR 26/0500Z.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS QUIET AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD AND UNSETTLED TO ACTIVE FROM 26/0300Z UNTIL THE END OF THE PERIOD. SUDDEN IMPULSES WERE OBSERVED AT 26/0326Z (16 NT) AND 26/2020Z (38 NT).
