Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

A Greater than 10 MeV Proton event occurred at 22/1420Z, reached a peak flux of 1091 pfu, and is ongoing at this time. A Greater than 100 MeV Proton event occurred at 22/1455Z, reached a peak flux of 3 pfu, and was also ongoing at this time.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled with an isolated active period.
