Solar activity has been low with the biggest flare of the period an isolated C2.1 flare from NOAA active region 2437. The most prominent region on disk, NOAA active region 2436 experienced some new opposite flux emergence in the trailing spot. Although some isolated C flaring is quite possible, we expect mainly quiet conditions. No Earth directed CMEs have been recorded. Solar wind speed remained elevated in the range of 400-500km/s. Around 13:50 UT a peak of around 12nT was measured in the total magnetic field after wich it declined steadily to a value of currently around 6.5 nT. Bz was mainly positive. The magnetic field phi angle settled steadily in a positive sector. Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (both NOAA Kp and local K Dourbes 0-3). Solar wind conditions are expected to further restore towards nominal conditions. Associated quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected.
