Bulletin

Over the past 24 hours solar activity has been low, there has been one C-class flare recorded. An as yet unnamed region, located at S17E48 produced the largest flare, a C1.2 class flare, which peaked at 01:28 UT on 2015-Nov-13. NOAA Active Regions (ARs) 2448 and 2449 appear stable with small amounts of flux emergence. There were no Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) observed over the past 24 hours. The solar wind speed has steadily declined over the past 24 hours, from around 500 km /s to around 400 km /s. The total magnetic field been slowly growing from around 2 nT to 10 nT over the past 24 hours. The Bz component has oscillated between -5 nT and +4 nT over the past 24 hours, but has been largely negative throughout this morning (2015-Nov-13). Geomagnetic conditions have been mainly quiet over the past 24 hours (NOAA Kp 1-2, local K Dourbes 1-2). A small coronal hole (W40S20) may increase solar wind speeds later today.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 051, based on 19 stations.
