Solar activity has been very low, no C-class flares in past 24h. The situation is not expected to change, as the 3 active regions on the visible disk (NOAA AR 2476, 2477, 2478) are fairly simple and do not have potential for strong flares. Solar wind speed is at 450 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 5 nT, at the L1 point. The shock from the CME on 1 December may still arrive to the Earth and increase geomagnetic conditions, but otherwise mostly quiet periods are expected.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 073, based on 07 stations.
