Solar activity is low with no C-class flares reported during last 24 hours. We expect solar activity to remain low, with possibility of isolated C-class flares. No Earth directed CMEs were observed in the last 24 hours. The solar wind speed remains to be high with the average value of about 640 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field is stable and amounts about 6 nT. Due to fast solar wind and intervals of the negative value of the Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field several intervals of active geomagnetic conditions (K=4) were reported yesterday afternoon by local station at Dourbes, NOAA also reported two intervals of Kp=4. We expect unsettled to possibly active geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 078, based on 07 stations.
