NOAA AR 2634 went from beta to alpha alpha magnetic field configuration and is the only visible active region on the solar disk. There have been no C-class flares in past 24 h. The situation is not expected to change.
No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) have been detected. Solar protons have remained at background levels over the past 24 hours.
Geomagnetic conditions have been at k = 2-3 levels. Solar wind speed is now at 480 km/s with interplanetary magnetic fields of 4 nT. The high speed stream (HSS) expected from an equatorial coronal hole may have missed the Earth. This was the case in the previous rotation. It may still arrive today though and cause up to K = 4.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 010, based on 06 stations.
