There are three active regions, all with alpha configuration of the photospheric magnetic field, presently observed on the visible side of the solar disc. Solar activity is low and only few B-class flares were reported during last 24 hours. We expect solar flaring activity to remain on the same level in the coming hours. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed in the past 24 hours.
Solar wind speed decreased to value of about 450 km/s, and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude remains on the level of 5nT. During last 48 hours geomagnetic conditions were mostly quiet to unsettled and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 026, based on 19 stations.
