Solar activity was low, no C-class flares in past 24 h. NOAA 2699 has decayed from beta-gamma to beta magnetic field configuration, however it can still produce C-class flares in the coming hours. Proton flux levels are at background values and are expected to remain so. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed. Solar wind speed is at 340 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 6 nT. Geomagnetic conditions reached unsettled levels (K = 3) this morning due to interplanetary magnetic field elevated values of 10.7 nT. Bz component remained strictly positive around 9 nT, and speeds elevated simultaniously only till 380 km/s. Quiet to unsettled conditions can be expected in the next 48 h.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 027, based on 10 stations.
