Bulletin

Solar activity was very low with no spotted regions on the visible disk. The solar X-ray flux was below B level and this is expected to remain so. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed in coronagraph data. The >10MeV proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind conditions were near nominal until around 2:00UT this morning when an increase in Solar wind speed has set in. Currently, Solar wind speed reaches moderate values between 440-470km/s. Total magnetic field reached just over 8nT and Bz saw a very brief peak down to -6.4nT, but magnetic field values now continue to be at nominal levels (3-5nT). Solar wind speed may remain slightly elevated for a while but is expected to soon return to nominal conditions.

Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet to unsettled (local K Dourbes 0-2 and NOAA Kp 0-3) with similar conditions expected over the next days.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 17 stations.
