Solar activity was very low. No flares, no earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed. The greater than 10MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours. Solar activity is expected to remain low. Solar wind speed decreased from about 540 to 490 km/s. The total interplanetary magnetic field is below 6 nT. Bz varied between -6 and +5 nT. Quiet to active geomagnetic conditions were observed. Quiet to active geomagnetic conditions can be expected for the next two days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 22 stations.
