Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below B level throughout the period. The sunspots that emerged yesterday in the North-Western quadrant were short lived and the Solar disk is again spotless. X-ray flux is expected to continue to be below C level.

No earth directed CMEs have been recorded.

The proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.

Solar wind was mostly nominal, slowly increasing to around 400 km/s until after 11:00 UT when it rose more suddenly to close to 490 km/s. Total magnetic field was first within 4-7nT before increasing to close to 10nT between 8:00 and 10:00 UT. Bz saw a longer period period with values down to -7nT before midnight but has been positive recently. These slight enhancements may continue over the next days.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (local K Dourbes and NOAA Kp 0-3). Quiet conditions are expected over the next days with initially some unsettled periods possible.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 15 stations.
