Bulletin

There are presently two numbered active regions (NOAA AR 2742 and 2743) observed on the visible side of the solar disc. Nevertheless the solar flaring is still very low without C-class or even B-class flares reported. We do not expect change of the solar activity in the coming hours. There were no Earth directed CMEs reported and the solar protons remained at the background level.

The Earth is still inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 350 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude amounts about 4 nT. The fast solar wind associated with the patchy negative polarity coronal hole, which reached central meridian on June 21, is expected to arrive to the Earth later today or tomorrow. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet. We expect quiet geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours, with possible isolated intervals of unsettled conditions due to expected fast solar wind arrival.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 011, based on 20 stations.
