Bulletin

Solar activity is very low. Catania sunspot group 19 (NOAA AR 2743) rotated behind the west solar limb. New active region is rotating to the visible side of Sun from the behind of the east solar limb and it could possibly increase the level of solar activity in the coming days. However we do not expect the C-class or larger flares in the coming hours. There were no Earth directed CMEs and the solar protons remained at the background level.

The solar wind speed is presently 340 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 4 nT. Small, negative polarity coronal hole (between S20 and S40) has reached the central meridian in the evening of June 27. The associated fast solar wind might arrive to the Earth on July 01. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 23 stations.
