Bulletin

The solar activity has been quiet over the past 24 hours. The sun is currently spotless and the X-ray flux remained below B-level. Solar activity is expected to remain at low levels for the next 24 hours.

No Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CME) were observed over the last 24 hours in the available coronagraph imagery. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to remain at low levels.

The Earth is currently under the slow solar wind regime: The wind speed remained about 350 km/s, the total interplanetary magnetic field was below 5 nT, and the Bz component showed small fluctuations around 0 nT (as recorded by ACE). The solar wind parameters are expected to remain close to the nominal levers.

Quiet geomagnetic conditions were observed and are expected to remain for the next period.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 24 stations.
