During last 24 hours solar flaring activity was very low (i.e. no flares reported), and we do not expect any significant change in the upcoming hours. There were no Earth directed CMEs and the solar protons remained at the background level.
The solar wind speed is presently about 390 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 3 nT. Patchy, but extended in latitude, equatorial coronal hole (of negative polarity) reached central meridian yesterday afternoon. The associated increase of the solar wind speed can be expected at the Earth in the morning of November 10. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet to unsettled, and we expect them to remain so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 17 stations.
