Bulletin

The Sun was spotless. Solar activity was at very low levels. A small active region (AR) is expected to round the northeast limb later today. There's also a smaller AR at the southeast limb. Solar activity is expected to stay at very low levels, with a small chance on a C-class flare.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux and the greater than 2 MeV electron flux were at nominal levels during the last 24 hours and are expected to remain so.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.

Solar wind speed varied mostly between 300 and 330 km/s, with Bz varying between -3 and +3 nT (DSCOVR). The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was in a predominately positive sector (away from the Sun).

Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be mostly quiet with an occasional unsettled episode possible.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 19 stations.
