Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS QUIET TO ACTIVE.
D. Stratwarm
STRATWARM ALERT/WEDNESDAY/STRATWARM EXISTS. MINOR WARMING OVER EUROPE/SIBERIA AND THE WHOLE ARCTIC AT 10 HPA CONTINUES. TEMPERATURE GRADIENT REVERSED BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE IN THE WHOLE STRATOSPHERE ABOVE 50 HPA. MEAN ZONAL WIND AT 60N CONTINUOUSLY DECREASING AND IS FROM EAST AT 1 HPA.
