Bulletin

There are currently 6 (NOAA) numbered Active Regions on the solar disc, but solar activity is low. AR NOAA 1689 has an Eai McIntosh classification and could produce some flaring activity. Solar wind speed is slow, around 315 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field Bz component is between 0 and 5 nT. Solar activity is expected to remain quiet. Geomagnetic activity was quiet to moderate and is expected to remain so for the next 48 hours.
