The active region which was the most active the past days turned over de west limb and is now out of view. A new active region is ready to rotate over the east limb in the southern hemisphere. It produced C-flare this morning and yesterday. More C-flares are likely. The solar wind speed is slow: around 300 km/s. The total interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is even below 4nT. Consequently, there are no geomagnetic disturbances. The Kp and local K Dourbes are below 3. There is no indication yet that this situation will change, except for a small northern coronal hole that passed already the central meridian. The fast speed of this coronal hole might arrive late today or tomorrow.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 025, based on 08 stations.
