The past 24-hour solar activity was low. The most noteworthy event was a back-sided halo CME first seen by SOHO/LASCO at May 21, 22:24. All numbered active regions on the disc have stable magnetic configurations and are therefore not expected to yield significant flaring. Attention must be paid however to, yet unnumbered, flux emergence regions near N10W15. Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet in the past 24 hours and are expected to remain so. The solar wind is stable at 400km/s, no CME or coronal hole influence is expected in the coming days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 050, based on 12 stations.
