There are only three currently numbered sunspot groups visible on the solar disc. Solar activity remains to be very low, with no C-class reported since January 07. Significant change in the level of the solar activity is not expected, however low C-class flares are still possible, although very probable (about 30%). No Earth directed CMEs were observed in the last 24 hours. Solar wind speed continues to be around 500 km/s, and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is currently 5 nT. Geomagnetic conditions were quiet during the last 24 hours, and we expect them to remain so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 040, based on 09 stations.
