Two C-class flares erupted from NOAA 2521, which is located at the West limb. The C1.2 and C3.7 flares occurred shortly after each, peaking at 00:40 and 01:22 UT respectively. A filament eruption was observed in GONG images near S30E05 around 22 UT. C-class flares are possible (chance of 40%). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Solar wind conditions are nominal with solar wind speed gradually declining from 480 to 400 km/s. Magnetic field magnitude was around 5 nT with a fluctuating Bz component. Geomagnetic conditions were mainly at quiet to unsettled levels, which is mainly expected to continue for the next 24 hours.
