Solar activity is very low, only B-class flaring in past 24 h. A bipolar AR (Catania 64, no NOAA number) rotated into view slightly northeast of NOAA AR 2535 (Catania 63) and has produced most of the latest B-class flaring. C-class flares are possible as this region evolves in the coming hours. Geomagnetic conditions have ranged from quiet to unsettled in the past 24 h. The solar wind speed is at 500 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude around 4 nT. Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected.
