Solar activity once more was very low. No active regions are visible. No flares or CMEs were observed. The solar activity is expected to remain very low (no C flaring) for the next 24 hours. In the wake of a coronal hole high speed stream, ACE solar wind speed decreased from about 590 to about 440 km/s. Meanwhile, the magnitude of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) varied between 1 and 9 nT. During the past 24 hours, geomagnetic conditions have been quiet to active (K Dourbes between 1 and 4; NOAA Kp between 1 and 4). Quiet to unsettled geomagnetic levels (K Dourbes < 4) are expected on June 7, 8 and 9.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 25 stations.
