No active regions on the visible solar disc. No C-class flares in past 24 h and the situation is not expected to change.
No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) have been detected. Solar protons have remained at background levels over the past 24 h.
The solar wind speed at L1 is at 430 km /s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 5 nT. The effect of the coronal hole related solar wind was very weak, with speeds no larger than 450 km/s (and magnetic fields of 10 nT), it caused only unsettled geomagnetic conditions. Quiet to unsettled conditions expected for the next 48 h.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 23 stations.
