Solar X-ray flux was below B level. Wit no active regions on disk X-ray flux is expected to remain at background levels.
No Earth directed CME's have been observed in coronagraph data. A filament located near N30E05 is seen erupting in SDO/AIA 304 images after 6:00UT. We await further coronagraph data to assess the possibility of an Earth-directed CME.
Proton levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.
Solar wind fluctuated around 450 km/s with magnetic field below 7nT. A period of persistent negative Bz was seen before and around midnight. The magnetic field phi angle has gradually shifted into the negative sector over this period. Solar wind conditions are expected to remain near nominal with possibly some enhancements starting in the afternoon of September 17 due to a coronal hole on the southern hemisphere.
Geomagnetic conditions have seen some active periods (NOAA Kp=4) after midnight. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet to unsettled over the next days with a possibility of isolated periods of active conditions.
