The two active regions visible on the sun (NOAA ARs 2753 and 2754) have decayed and not produced any activity. Solar activity has been very low, no flares in the past 24 h. Signs of an eruption, dimmings and EUV wave, can be seen around 05:00 UT on December 24 from a region (not a numbered active region) close to N10W50. Nevertheless, no CME is seen in coronagraph images.
No Earth directed CMEs in past 24 h. Solar protons have remained at background levels over the past 24 h.
The solar wind speed is at 400 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 3 nT. Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet and expected to remain so.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 011, based on 08 stations.
