Solar flaring activity was very with just two low level B flares this morning from former region NOAA 2759. There are no spotted regions on disk and Solar flaring is expected to remain below C level over the next days.
No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to stay at nominal levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate levels the past 24 hours and expected to remain so.
Solar wind displayed a slow Solar wind regime, with speed slowly decreasing from just over 400 km/s to between 350-360 km/s currently. Total magnetic field was around a nominal 3nT with a variable Bz. The magnetic field phi angle showed some variation in what appears overall a change from the negative into the positive sector. Largely nominal Solar wind conditions are expected over the next days although some elevations are possible related to some small isolated equatorial coronal holes.
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (local K Dourbes 0-2 and NOAA Kp 0-1). Quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected over the next days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 28 stations.
