Solar flaring activity was very low though former region NOAA 2759 did produce a B flare. There are no spotted regions on disk and Solar flaring is expected to remain below C level over the next days.
No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to stay at nominal levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate levels the past 24 hours and expected to remain so.
A negative polarity low latitude coronal hole in the southern hemisphere is crossing the central meridian and is expected to influence solar wind conditions starting April 11.
Solar wind displayed a slow Solar wind regime, with speed in the 300-350 km/s range. Total magnetic field was around a nominal 3nT with a variable Bz. The magnetic field phi angle settled firmly in the negative sector. Largely nominal Solar wind conditions are expected over the next days although some elevations are possible related to some small isolated equatorial coronal holes. More significant enhancements may be expected by April 11, due to the coronal hole currently transiting the central meridian.
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (local K Dourbes 0-2 and NOAA Kp 0-1). Quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected over the next days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 26 stations.
