Bulletin

Solar flaring activity was at very low levels. No significant flares have been recorded. Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels.

No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux and the greater than 2 MeV electron flux were at background levels the past 24 hours. They are expected to remain so in the next 24 hours.

The solar wind speed near Earth oscillated between the values of 310 and 380 km/s (DSCOVR+ACE). The polarity of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) varied. Bz fluctuated between -3 and +3 nT. The magnitude of the magnetic field varied between 1 and 6 nT. For the next 24 hours the solar wind speed is expected to remain at these levels.

Active geomagnetic conditions were registered for the past 24 hours (K Dourbes recorded values 0-4 and NOAA Kp=1). Quiet to unsettled (K Dourbes = 3) geomagnetic conditions are expected for the next 24 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 23 stations.
