Bulletin

Solar flaring activity is very low, without C-class or even B-class flares reported during last 24 hours. We expect a low level of flaring activity to persist in the coming hours. Only one narrow CME was observed, associated with the small eruption from the Catania sunspot group 33. During last 24 hours solar protons have remained at background level.

The solar wind speed is fluctuating around 320 km/s, and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is presently 3 nT. The low latitude extension of the northern polar coronal hole has reached central meridian today. The associated solar wind might be expected at Earth on July 06. Longer interval of the unsettled geomagnetic conditions was reported, starting from the evening of June 01 and ending early morning today (local station at Dourbes reported Kp=3, and NOAA reported K=3).The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect quiet to possibly unsettled geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 20 stations.
