The Sun was spotless. Solar activity was at very low levels and is expected to remain so.
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels and expected to remain so. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels, with a maximum of 4360 pfu at 15:55UT. The electron flux is expected to be at moderate levels.
No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.
Solar wind speed varied between 270 and 300 km/s (DSCOVR). Bz varied between -4 and +4 nT. The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was predominantly towards the Sun (negative sector).
Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels and is expected to remain so.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 25 stations.
