Bulletin

The Sun was spotless. Solar activity was at very low levels and is expected to remain so.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels and expected to remain so. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels, with a maximum of 3580 pfu at 19:50UT. The electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels again.

No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in available coronagraphic imagery.

Solar wind speed was mostly between 280 and 310 km/s (DSCOVR). Bz varied between -4 and +5 nT. The direction of the interplanetary magnetic field (phi angle) was predominantly towards the Sun (negative sector).

Geomagnetic activity was at quiet levels and is expected to remain so.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 26 stations.
