During last 24 hours number of B-class flares were reported, but there were no C-class flares or larger flares reported. We expect such a level of flaring activity to persist in the coming hours. An isolated C-class flares are possible but not very probable. The filament eruption in the south-west quadrant of the Sun was observed at about 10 UT today. The available coronagraph data do not show any possibly Earth directed CMEs. The proton flux levels remain at the background values.
The solar wind speed remains fluctuating between 300 and 350 km/s, and its present value is about 310 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is 3 nT. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 031, based on 18 stations.
