Bulletin

Solar activity once again was very low. No significant flares were observed. Activity was limited to a partial eruption of the filament in the SW quadrant (from 13:26 UT on) and a small filament eruption near plage 2351 (from 22:00 UT on). A few regions are currently at the East limb that could introduce some activity. No Earth-bound CMEs were observed yet.

The solar wind speed remains low in the range of 280-360 km/s. The magnitude of the magnetic field was maximally 12 nT. A sector boundary crossing occurred around 16:00 UT on May 26 going from a negative to a positive orientation, which seems to be changing again from 10:30 UT. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet (K <4) and are expected to remain so till the expected coronal hole high speed stream arrives on May 28.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 017, based on 18 stations.
