Solar activity was at very low levels. The Sun was spotless. No Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CME) were observed during the period. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal values.
Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels.
The solar wind speed remained below 450 km/s over teh period. The total interplanetary magnetic field varied between 6.5 and 3.5 nT reflecting a transient coronal hole passage through a geoeffective position. Bz varied between -4 and +4 nT.
Quiet geomagnetic conditions were observed. Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected for the next three days.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 19 stations.
